These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Pocket Buddy, including our mobile application, website, and related services. Pocket Buddy is operated by Surf Games LLC (“Surf Games,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using Pocket Buddy, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use Pocket Buddy.

About Pocket Buddy

Pocket Buddy is a budgeting and money-tracking app designed to help users manually track income, expenses, bills, savings goals, weekly money flow, and daily safe-to-spend amounts.

Pocket Buddy is a tool for personal budgeting and informational use. It is not a bank, financial institution, lender, broker, investment adviser, tax adviser, legal adviser, or accounting service.

Eligibility

Pocket Buddy is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. By using Pocket Buddy, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal ability to agree to these Terms.

Limited License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Surf Games LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use Pocket Buddy for your personal, non-commercial use.

Pocket Buddy and its content, design, features, software, graphics, logos, text, and other materials are licensed, not sold. Surf Games LLC retains all rights, title, and interest in and to Pocket Buddy.

No Financial Advice and User Responsibility

Pocket Buddy provides budgeting tools, spending estimates, savings progress, and safe-to-spend calculations for informational purposes only. Pocket Buddy does not provide financial, legal, tax, investment, credit, lending, or accounting advice.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter into Pocket Buddy, including income, expenses, bills, savings goals, transaction categories, and any other budgeting information.

Safe-to-spend amounts, weekly summaries, savings progress, and other calculations are estimates based on the information you provide. These estimates may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate if the information you enter is incomplete, delayed, or incorrect.

You are responsible for reviewing your actual bank accounts, payment accounts, bills, due dates, balances, and financial obligations before making financial decisions. Pocket Buddy should not be used as the only source for deciding whether to make a purchase, skip a payment, delay a bill, borrow money, invest, or take any other financial action.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Surf Games LLC is not responsible for financial decisions you make, or for losses, fees, penalties, missed payments, overdrafts, declined transactions, incorrect budgets, lost savings, or other consequences that may result from your use of Pocket Buddy or your reliance on information shown in the app.

No Guarantee of Results

Pocket Buddy is designed to help users better understand their money flow, but we do not guarantee that using Pocket Buddy will improve your finances, increase savings, prevent overspending, prevent missed payments, or produce any specific financial result.

Manual Data Entry and Bank Connections

Pocket Buddy’s current MVP is manual-first. Pocket Buddy does not currently connect to your bank account, collect bank login credentials, automatically import bank transactions, provide credit products, or perform investment tracking.

If bank-linking, account aggregation, or other financial integrations are added in the future, additional terms or updated policies may apply.

Accounts and Login Information

Pocket Buddy may allow you to create an account or otherwise register for the app. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate account information and to update it when necessary. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, you should contact us promptly.

Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not:

• Use Pocket Buddy for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation, security, or performance of Pocket Buddy
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Pocket Buddy or related systems
• Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where allowed by law
• Use Pocket Buddy to violate the rights of Surf Games LLC, other users, or third parties
• Submit false, misleading, harmful, or unlawful information through the app or support channels

Purchases and Subscriptions

Pocket Buddy may offer paid features, subscriptions, or other purchases. If you make a purchase through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another app platform, your purchase may be processed by that platform and subject to its payment terms, refund rules, and subscription management policies.

Unless otherwise required by law or by the applicable app platform, payments may be non-refundable. You are responsible for managing or canceling subscriptions through the platform where you purchased them.

Privacy

Your use of Pocket Buddy is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and share information. You can review it here: Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services and Links

Pocket Buddy may include links to third-party websites, app stores, tools, platforms, analytics providers, hosting providers, payment processors, or other services that are not owned or controlled by Surf Games LLC.

We are not responsible for the content, policies, security, availability, or practices of third-party services. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access to Pocket Buddy if we believe you violated these Terms, created legal risk, caused harm to Pocket Buddy or other users, or used the app in an unlawful or abusive way.

You may stop using Pocket Buddy at any time. If account deletion is available, you may request deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to Pocket Buddy

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue Pocket Buddy or any part of it at any time. We may also add, remove, or change features, including free or paid features.

We are not responsible for any loss or inconvenience caused by changes to, suspension of, or discontinuation of Pocket Buddy, except where required by applicable law.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Pocket Buddy is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Surf Games LLC disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, availability, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We do not warrant that Pocket Buddy will always be available, secure, accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, or free from errors, bugs, or data loss.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Surf Games LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, partners, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of money, loss of savings, loss of data, loss of profits, missed payments, overdraft fees, late fees, declined transactions, or other losses arising from or related to your use of Pocket Buddy.

Surf Games LLC is not responsible for losses or consequences caused by inaccurate information entered by you, delayed updates, incorrect assumptions, app errors, device issues, third-party service issues, or your reliance on safe-to-spend amounts or other app calculations.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Surf Games LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, partners, service providers, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of Pocket Buddy, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the app, by email, or by posting an updated version on our website. The updated Terms will be effective when posted unless otherwise stated.

Your continued use of Pocket Buddy after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
